In April 2007 we were glad to welcome the cast and crew of Coronation street to film at the Ascott Hotel after they approached us to film scenes when Ken Barlow decides to escape from his wife Deidre.

The Hotel won this award in recognition of the high standards at the Hotel, quality of service offered to guests and the friendly welcoming atmosphere.
